When you invite someone into your home, you deserve to know exactly who is showing up — and that starts with a business that is truly local.
Serving West Orange & South Lake County Communities
Our home is West Orange County — and we mean that literally. Carmem and her team live in these neighborhoods and clean homes in them every week. The West Orange Trail threads through our service area, connecting Winter Garden, Oakland, and Horizon West in a way that captures exactly what makes this part of Florida so special. Master-planned communities, historic bungalows, lakefront estates along the Butler Chain — we know these neighborhoods because we are part of them.
Across the county line, we extend our service into Clermont and Montverde in South Lake County — communities that share the same family-oriented character, the same top-rated schools, and the same need for a cleaning service they can genuinely trust.

Do I need to be home during the cleaning?
No — most of our clients schedule their cleanings while they are at work or out running errands. Just provide access instructions (a key, lockbox code, or garage code) and your team will handle everything. Every Horizon West Cleaning Services professional is background-checked and insured for your complete peace of mind.
Are your cleaners background-checked and insured?
Yes, without exception. Every member of the HWCS team passes a comprehensive background check before their first visit to any client's home. We are fully registered with the State of Florida and insured. Trust and safety are the foundation our business is built on — that has never changed.
What is included in a standard house cleaning?
A standard clean covers every major area: dusting all surfaces and furniture, vacuuming and mopping all floors, scrubbing bathrooms (toilet, tub, and sink), wiping down the kitchen (counters, appliance exteriors, sink), and general tidying. Need something more thorough? Our deep cleaning service adds baseboards, inside appliances, cabinet interiors, and all the areas that accumulate over time.
Is Horizon West Cleaning Services a franchise?
No — and that distinction matters. HWCS is an independently owned, woman-owned local business. Carmem founded it in 2019 and personally oversees every team to ensure the standard is consistent, visit after visit. Unlike franchise chains where quality can vary by location, HWCS is accountable to the community it calls home. When you book with us, you are supporting a local business — not a national brand.
